Choirs

Macedonia has three choirs at present: an Adult-Senior Choir, a Children's Junior Choir, and a Youth Choir. Membership in the Senior Choir is open to any adult in the church. The Junior Choir is restricted to children in grades K-5. The Youth Choir is for anyone in grades 6-12. Rehearsals for each choir are held weekly. The Junior Choir rehearses on Sundays at 4:30 p.m.; the Youth Choir rehearses on Sundays at 5:15 p.m.; and the Senior Choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.

The ministry of worship at Macedonia has a high priority. We see the leadership of our choirs in worship as their highest duty. Their primary task is to lead worship, not to perform for the congregation. We welcome the participation of anyone whose desire is to excel in the worship of our Lord and God.

Auditions for membership in the choirs are not required. If you or a member of your family wishes to take part, please come to the appropriate rehearsal and indicate your interests to the Music Ministries at Macedonia.
